We're delighted to announce the fifth and final winner of our Glad To Care Competition 2026, Naree Janyutha from Hazel Lodge, who has been awarded a £100 Love To Shop Voucher in recognition of her outstanding dedication and commitment to care.

Naree was nominated by her manager, Warren Wickert, whose heartfelt nomination highlighted the incredible impact she has made over the past year.

Warren described Naree as "an absolute rock" to both Hazel Lodge and to him personally during a significant period of transition under new leadership. Her unwavering professionalism, resilience and dedication have helped provide stability for both the team and residents, ensuring the highest standards of care have been maintained throughout.

He praised Naree for consistently going above and beyond, always putting the needs of the home and its residents first. Whether supporting colleagues, guiding the team with calm and confident leadership, or sharing her extensive knowledge of residents and the service, Naree's contribution has been invaluable.

Naree's compassionate approach extends beyond clinical care. She takes great pride in making residents and their families feel welcome, creating a warm and inclusive environment where everyone feels valued. She actively encourages residents to socialise, spend time in communal areas and enjoy outdoor activities whenever possible, helping to enhance their wellbeing and quality of life.

Warren also recognised the exceptional relationships Naree has built with residents, noting that her deep understanding of each individual's needs, preferences and personality is reflected in the outstanding care she provides every day.

Her resilience, compassion and commitment make her an integral part of Hazel Lodge, and it is clear she is greatly appreciated by residents, colleagues and management alike.

When receiving the award, Naree said:

I am thankful for this appreciation for the work I do with my team, I want to include all that I work with, from management and all other colleagues as without us all working together we would not be able to provide such amazing care and support to all of our residents.
