On Thursday 23rd July 2026, we hosted our 4th annual Pollard's Promises Fundraising Quiz Night at Worthing Rugby Club!

The event brought together friends, families, local businesses and supporters for a night full of laughter, friendly competition and fundraising, all with one shared goal, helping Pollard's Promises continue making wishes come true for people working and living within the care sector.

Thanks to the amazing generosity of everyone who attended, bought raffle tickets and supported the event, we are thrilled to announce that we raised an incredible £2,400. Every pound raised will go towards fulfilling more wises and creating memorable moments for those who deserve them most.

One of the highlights of the evening was our fantastic raffle, which featured an incredible 36 prizes, all generously donated by local businesses. We are so grateful to every company that supported us by donating a prize. Your kindness and generosity played a huge part in making the evening such a success and helped us raise even more money for Pollard's Promises.

Of course, it wouldn't be quiz night without some healthy competition! Congratulations to our quiz champions, "Oh for Evan's Sake We Thought This Was Bingo", who took home the Pollard's Promises Quiz Trophy after finishing with an impressive 88 points.

We also celebrated the creativity of our teams by awarding a bottle of prosecco for the Best Team Name. Congratulations to "I Thought This Was Speed Dating", whose brilliant name had everyone smiling and was a worthy winner of the prize.

A huge thank you goes to everyone who came along and made the evening so enjoyable. Whether you entered a team, bought raffle tickets, donated a prize, or simply cheered everyone on, your support means the world to us. Events like this simply wouldn't be possible without our wonderful community.

We are incredibly proud of what we achieved together and can't wait to use the funds raised to continue fulfilling wishes across the care sector.
