We’re delighted to officially welcome Lauryl Rencontre into her brand-new full-time role as Wishes & Events Coordinator at Pollard’s Promises, although she’s certainly no stranger to the charity.

Lauryl has been part of our journey for over a year, supporting the delivery of heartfelt wishes on a part-time basis. From bright bouquets to thoughtful hampers and special experiences, she’s played a key role in bringing smiles, comfort, and recognition to carers, care teams, and care recipients across the UK.

Now stepping into this new full-time position, Lauryl will be at the very heart of Pollard’s Promises. She’ll be leading on the planning and fulfilment of wishes, ensuring each one is personal, meaningful, and delivered with care. Her role also sees her driving forward our much-loved events, including the Annual Quiz and Santa’s Workshop, which bring care communities together to celebrate, reflect, and raise vital support.

With her warmth, dedication, and exceptional creativity, Lauryl ensures every promise we deliver leaves a lasting impact. She’s someone who truly understands the power of appreciation, and how even the smallest act of kindness can brighten someone’s world.
