At Pollard’s Promises, we believe that even the simplest of gestures can bring a big dose of joy, especially when it’s filled with someone’s favourite things.  We were honoured to grant a wish for Harry, a brave 14-year-old boy from Hove whose story truly touched our hearts.

Last year, Harry’s life changed in an instant. A fall at the playground led to a devastating injury, leaving him paralysed from the neck down.  

When we heard about his story, we wanted to do something to lift his spirits. We created a hamper of Harry’s favourite things! The hamper was hand-delivered by a family friend, and it wasn’t long before the gaming session and snack-fest began! 😄

"Thank you so, so much for Harry’s hamper of his favourite things. My son took it around to him, and he and his family were really touched by the kindness. I think he ate a few bits whilst they were gaming!"

Moments like these are what Pollard’s Promises is all about. We can’t change the challenges someone is facing, but we can brighten their day, remind them they’re not alone, and bring a little joy into their world.
