A Hamper of Comfort for Mason

When we heard Mason’s story, we knew we wanted to do something special to bring a smile to his face during an incredibly difficult time.

At just four years old, Mason was diagnosed with grade 1 meningiomas in November last year and is due to undergo further surgery in the coming months. Despite the challenges Mason is facing at such a young age, we wanted to create something that could bring him comfort, happiness, and a little excitement during this difficult time.

We put together a personalised hamper filled with some of his favourite things. Inside were a LEGO monster truck, a toy monster truck, Hot Wheels cars, a cars puzzle, a Sonic cuddly toy, and a Tonies Sleepy Whale to help him relax and sleep more comfortably.

The surprise delivery brought huge excitement for Mason, especially when he answered the door to discover a big box waiting for him. Knowing that such a simple gesture could create such happiness is exactly why we do what we do at Pollards Promises.

After receiving the hamper, Mason’s family shared this lovely message with us:

“Thank you so much for the hamper, Mason was so excited answering the door to a big box and was so surprised. That was very kind of you all to do that for him.

He used his Tonie box with the sleep sounds for the first time last night. He said this morning it really helped, so thank you for getting him that.”

Stories like Mason’s remind us how important small acts of kindness can be. Whether it is providing comfort, creating moments of joy, or simply helping a child smile during a difficult period, we are honoured to be able to make these wishes possible.

We are sending Mason and his family all of our love and support for the months ahead. 💜
