This month, we’re proud to shine a spotlight on Tina Sumner, a remarkable carer and the heart behind Ravenscroft Rest Home.

Tina was nominated by Susan Dewhurst, who has witnessed her unwavering dedication for over 25 years. Starting from the ground up, Tina has worked her way to the role of Manager, and in that time, she has become much more than a leader, she has become the soul of the home.

“Tina has worked for me over 25 years working her way up to Manager. She is dedicated to and passionate about the Home and residents. During COVID she was phenomenal and she kept everyone safe and healthy. She is Ravenscroft and someone I am extremely proud of. She is truly an amazingly strong, passionate and dedicated Manager. She loves a night away anywhere with her two daughters so a voucher would be great. “

Tina’s commitment and compassion have left an indelible mark on both staff and residents alike. Her strength and passion radiate through her work, and it’s clear she leads not just with experience, but with heart.
