At Pollard’s Promises, we love recognising care professionals who consistently go above and beyond and Anita Message, Registered Manager at Alfriston Court Care Home, is the very definition of dedication.

Nominated by Will Andrews, Anita’s impact at Alfriston Court has been exceptional. After being promoted from Head of Care just a year ago, she stepped confidently into her new role, navigating the daily pressures of care home life with warmth, balance, and an unwavering focus on her team and residents.

“She is an absolute star,” said Will. “So kind and level-headed. Anita works tirelessly, constantly juggling the thousand things that a care home needs to get right, always thinking of everyone else first, even in the most stressful situations.”

To say thank you for all she does, we were thrilled to grant Anita’s wish: two tickets to the True Crime Museum. A devoted fan of crime dramas, Anita has had this visit on her wish list for quite some time and we couldn’t think of anyone more deserving of a day out doing something she loves.

“She was so grateful to be nominated for this and to Pollard’s Promises for the tickets,” Will told us. “She really deserves this little break.”
