This month, we were delighted to receive a nomination for Rebecca Cruse, who works for Nedcare in Moretonhampstead.

Rebecca was nominated by Eileen Barker for her tireless hard work, dedication and commitment to both her colleagues and the clients she cares for.

As a thank you for everything she does, Pollard’s Promises gave Rebecca a £50 salon voucher, a little something to encourage her to take some well-deserved time for herself.

Eileen’s nomination highlights just how much Rebecca does in her role at Nedcare:

*‘I nomiante Rebecca Cruse who works tirelessly for Nedcare in Moretonhampstead wearing at least two hats. She has the almost impossible task of producing the rotas, making sure all Nedcare's clients' visits are covered despite staff shortages. She happily steps into the breach in the event of sickness or loss of cover, despite having her own managerial work to do. She knows all the clients and visits them regularly to ensure that their needs are met. She is proactive and conscientious in making sure Nedcare gives the best possible care. I have worked with her and find her genuinely caring and empathetic. The clients know her and clearly love her. I sometimes wonder if she is ever off duty!

Eileen’s words demonstrate the enormous amount of care and commitment Rebecca brings to her work. From organising rotas and helping to cover staff shortages, to visiting clients and making sure their needs are being met, Rebecca clearly puts others first.
