"Over the weekend, the home experienced a significant power cut which affected the normal running and dynamics of the service, creating additional challenges for both residents and the staff team. Despite the disruption and uncertainty caused by the loss of power, Inderjeet Kaur remained calm, proactive, and focused, ensuring that the situation was managed safely and effectively throughout.

Inderjeet quickly adapted to the changing circumstances and worked closely with colleagues to maintain high standards of care. She provided ongoing reassurance and support to residents, helping them to feel safe, secure, and well cared for during what could have been a distressing experience. Her calm and confident approach helped maintain a positive atmosphere within the home and minimised anxiety for both residents and staff.

Throughout the incident, Inderjeet demonstrated excellent leadership, resilience, and professionalism, ensuring that residents' wellbeing, safety, and comfort remained the highest priority. As a result of her dedication and effective management of the situation, the home continued to operate safely, residents remained reassured and secure throughout the ordeal, and disruption to their daily lives was kept to a minimum."

It’s wonderful to recognise Inderjeet for the compassion, professionalism and dedication she demonstrated during such a challenging situation. Her actions made a real difference to the residents and her colleagues, ensuring that everyone felt supported and cared for when they needed it most.
