Betty was nominated by her Activities Co-ordinator Carla, who explained that Betty lives with dementia and often struggles to join in with group activities.

‍Betty has however always maintained her love for horses and often looks through her pictures of the days when she kept and rode horses.

The Pollard's Promises team wanted to give Betty a chance to bring those pictures to life once again, so Betty was taken for a day out at Bury Farm Equestrian Centre where she met two lovely horses, Radj and Anda, and was able to groom and feed them. Betty later watched some show jumping and had lunch with Carla whilst watching the horses go by.
