Celebrating Bia’s Dedication at Trust Homecare

Why Bia was nominated:

Bia is a highly committed staff who demonstrates genuine compassion towards service users. All our service users say the same thing about Bia, about her kindness and empathy. She goes above and beyond for those in her care often staying beyond her scheduled visits to keep a service user company or wait until a family member arrives, ensuring no one feels alone. More often, the service users just need someone to talk to, especially if they live alone.

Bia’s positivity shines through every aspect of her work. She never hesitates to help when called upon to cover for a colleague, even if it means travelling further or rearranging her busy schedule. Alongside her demanding care duties, Bia is also pursuing her master’s degree, showcasing her commitment to both personal and professional growth.

From starting her role on a bicycle to now travelling by scooter, Bia has shown up through all kinds of weather rain, snow, or summer heat. Her attendance is impeccable, and she’s known for always arriving on time (or calling ahead if there’s ever a delay).
