This month, we're proud to shine a spotlight on Denzel from Northleach Court Care Home, who was nominated by his manager, Fay Jones, for his hard work, positivity, and the difference he makes every day.
Although he's relatively new to the Maintenance Team, Denzel has quickly become an invaluable part of life at Northleach Court. Described by colleagues as an "absolute diamond," he's always willing to lend a hand and takes on every task with enthusiasm and a smile. If something needs doing, chances are Denzel is already on it.
Known around the home as their very own "Bob the Builder," Denzel can turn his hand to just about anything. From plumbing and hanging pictures to tackling everyday maintenance jobs, no task is too big or too small. He takes real pride in his work and always goes the extra mile to make sure things are done properly.
What stands out most, though, is the impact he has on the residents. Denzel is always friendly, approachable, and happy to help. Whether he's fixing something in a resident's room or helping to personalise a space to make it feel more like home, he genuinely cares about making people comfortable and happy.
It's clear to see why residents and colleagues think so highly of him. His positive attitude, dedication, and willingness to help wherever needed have made him a much-loved member of the team in a very short time.
To recognise everything he does, Pollard's Promises is delighted to grant Denzel's wish of a £50 Amazon voucher.
On receiving the award, Denzel said:
"Thank you for the honour and for recognising me. Everything I do, I do passionately and try to perfect as much as I can. That passion is also driven by the leadership and the teams I work with every day. Everyone is amazing, and without their support I wouldn't be able to achieve as much as I do. Thank you again."
Congratulations, Denzel, and thank you for everything you do for the residents and team at Northleach Court. Your kindness, dedication, and positive spirit make a real difference every single day.
