At Pollard’s Promises, each wish starts by recognising someone extraordinary. We’re honoured to celebrate those who go the extra mile every day, and this week we’re highlighting a truly deserving nominee whose kindness and dedication make a meaningful difference.

Trish Kershaw was nominated by Julie Slater from Trust Home Care as someone who truly goes above and beyond in her role as both a Care Coordinator and Care Worker. As a thank you we sent Trish a hamper filled with some of her favourite treats, including strawberry & lime and mixed fruit cider, black magic chocolates, a scented candle and incense sticks.

Over recent months, during a particularly challenging time with staff shortages, Trish has shown outstanding commitment. She consistently puts others before herself, always stepping forward to cover care duties before expecting her colleagues to take on extra work. Whether that means giving up her days off or rearranging her holiday plans, she does so without hesitation.

Her dedication goes far beyond what is expected. Trish is hardworking, compassionate, and always willing to support both her service users and her colleagues, no matter the time of day. Her selflessness and unwavering commitment truly represent the very best of the care profession, and recognising her with a special treat is a small but meaningful way to say thank you for everything she does. 💜
