A Day to Remember: Supporting Young Carers

Pollard’s Promises were absolutely delighted to support The Young Carers Centre Brighton and Hove, nominated by Paula Melis, Young Carers Senior Support Worker. 💜

We were pleased to donate 15 children’s tickets for Knockhatch Adventure Park, which helped create an amazing day out for 110 young carers and their families!

The day was filled with fun, laughter, and much-needed quality time together. It clearly meant so much to everyone who attended:

“ A massive thank you for an amazing day out on Saturday. We ended up staying until 5pm as the boys were all having such a lovely time on the waterslides. It was such a treat to all go out together, and have some family time.”

“We just wanted to say a big thank you for the family day out at Knockhatch yesterday. We had such a great time!”

“I just wanted to thank you for today. Our family had such a lovely day. It was a wonderful treat.”

Young carers take on a lot of responsibility, so it’s incredibly important they get opportunities like this to relax and enjoy being children.

We’re so proud to have been part of such a special day and are very grateful to the team at The Young Carers Centre Brighton and Hove for the fantastic work they do every day. 💜
